Service Area & Availability
We serve select towns throughout Fairfield County, CT — including Darien, Westport, Greenwich, Stamford, Norwalk, New Canaan, Wilton, Ridgefield, Weston, Fairfield, and surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we come to you, email us at bookings@doorbellbarbers.com and we'll let you know.
We are available Tuesday through Saturday, 9am to 5pm. We don't take appointments before 9am — because mornings at home should feel that way. Last appointments are typically scheduled to allow enough time for a complete service before 5pm.
Yes — we travel to hotels and offices throughout Fairfield County. Whether it's a pre-event groom-up at a hotel or a corporate wellness day at your office, we've got you covered. Book your appointment here.
Booking & Payment
Book directly through our online booking page. You can also email us at bookings@doorbellbarbers.com. We recommend booking in advance as availability is limited — members receive priority scheduling.
Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. We accept all major credit cards. Gratuity is not included in your service price and is always warmly appreciated.
We ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Members have a 24-hour cancellation window included in their membership. Please be in touch as soon as possible if something comes up — we're always happy to work with you.
Gratuity is not included in any of our service prices. Our barbers work hard to deliver exceptional service and tips are always appreciated. If you've purchased a gift card, note that our gift card prices include a suggested gratuity built into the total.
The Experience
Yes. All Doorbell Barbers are Connecticut-licensed and fully insured. We take our credentials seriously — every barber on our team meets state licensing requirements and our own high standards for quality and professionalism.
Not much — that's the point. We bring everything we need. Having a chair in a well-lit area helps, and a quick sweep of the area beforehand is appreciated. Your barber will handle the rest.
We use professional-grade barbering products. If you have sensitivities to specific products or prefer something in particular, let us know when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate.
Specialty & Accessibility Care
Yes — this is one of the reasons Doorbell Barbers exists. We have extensive experience with Parkinson's care barbering, including tremors, rigidity, and fatigue. Our barbers are patient, trained, and deeply respectful. Learn more at our dedicated Parkinson's care page.
Absolutely. We are experienced in providing calm, compassionate grooming for clients with dementia and other memory-related conditions. We understand the importance of routine, familiar faces, and a gentle approach. In-home service is especially valuable for these clients who may find travel or new environments disorienting.
This is work we care about deeply. Every visit results in a haircut — not just a "getting used to it" session. We build trust at your child's pace, in the comfort of their own home, using techniques tailored to sensory needs. Our long-term goal is to help them develop the confidence for independence — and eventually, a visit to a traditional barbershop if they choose. Yes. Our senior care service is built specifically for older adults who find travel difficult or impossible. We come to them — at home, at a care facility, or wherever they're most comfortable. Dignity, patience, and quality are never compromised. Visit our senior care page for more information.
Membership
All memberships include a set number of haircuts per month, priority booking over non-members, a 24-hour cancellation window, and discounted add-on services. Higher tiers include referral rewards and a dedicated barber. See our membership section for full details.
Online enrollment is coming soon. In the meantime, email us at bookings@doorbellbarbers.com with the membership you're interested in and we'll get you set up directly.
Yes — memberships can be cancelled at any time. Contact us at bookings@doorbellbarbers.com to make any changes.
Weddings & Events
Yes — wedding morning grooming is one of our signature experiences. We come to the groom's location and handle haircuts and shaves for the groom, groomsmen, and any other members of the wedding party. Visit our wedding services page for more information and to submit an inquiry.
We recommend reaching out at least 6–8 weeks before your wedding date, and as early as possible during peak season (May–October). Popular dates fill quickly. Contact us through our wedding page to get started.
